First questions to ask yourself to build a business or a personal brand
What is your dream or vision of the future? Where do you see yourself in 15 years from now. What is it that gets you excited?
So you have this dream, an idea, a vision of your future. And you want to build your personal brand, start your business, become a lifestyle influencer or a small business owner or an online entrepreneur.
Common things I am hearing when I ask why don't you start with that great idea? I get usually the same answers: I have no money. I don't know how to do that. I am afraid to put myself out there on social media. I have kids and don't have that extra time. I already work full-time on another job.
It might be a difficult situation you are currently facing. And nobody knows better how hard it is to crush it 100% at work, being a single mom and doing additional business and blogging aside. Why do I do this? It is very easy. I love building things. I always have a project and a goal and nothing is gonna stop me from going there. It might take me a while longer than others, but I don't care. Because it is my dream and it is different from others dreams. That is so wonderful about them. Every dream is unique.
That is also why you shouldn't fear that there are already others in the same niche. Just think about ten years from now. Wouldn't you be happy that at least you've tried? That you started your journey?
No excuses:
It has never been easier to build a business or a personal brand than today at no costs. You can literally do everything on your smart phone. You can be whatever you want: a youtube star, Instagram influencer, vlogger, podcaster, tiktok raising star, snapchatter.
Approximately 80-90% of the people are not posting because of their fear about judgement. From your family or from strangers. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Or don't be afraid that you are too late to the party.
You are unique
You have to start somewhere and you have a unique positioning because nobody can be you. Just be yourself and talk about something that matters to you. And you can evolve over time. I know many influencers that started unsuccessfully in one niche and started over again. Learning from failures. You can go from fashionista to makeup influencer to business advisor. All of that is your unique experience and nobody can copy this.
Success doesn't come overnight
All you need is the consistency to post and to be aware that success doesn‘t come overnight. If you want to build something you are in it for the long run. And you can count on that the majority of the people doesn‘t have the patience to do this. Start now.
